The XIV meeting of the Spanish Drug Discovery Network (SDDN) will take place in Granada, Spain, on November 24 and 25, 2022. This international conference has turned out to be an ideal forum for the early drug discovery community, both from Academia and Industry, facilitating an “in-depth” discussion among professionals with different backgrounds, but all focused on advancing the frontline of drug discovery and translational medicine research.
This year, the programme will touch areas that are continuously evolving and increasingly having an impact on drug discovery such as Targeted Protein Degradation, Nucleic Acids as Therapeutic Agents and Biologics in Drug Discovery and Development.
Celtarys Research, a Santiago de Compostela-based newly created start up, is one of the event sponsors. Celtarys Research (www.celtarys.com) develops and commercializes new fluorescent tools that optimize the complex and costly drug discovery process, from target validation to hit identification and lead optimization. Celtarys Research Chief Scientific Officer, Dr. Maria Majellaro, will give a talk entitled “High performance fluorescent probes to accelerate GPCR Drug Discovery” presenting its exclusive catalogue of fluorescent probes for GPCRs as well as the capabilities of the company for the design and synthesis of customized fluorescent probes specific for any target of interest, applying its own semicombinatorial chemical conjugation technology.
