Representative confocal microscopy images showing the co-localization of Compound 19 (CELT-483) with σ2 receptor expression in MCF7 cells. Cells were preincubated with 10 μM selective σ1 receptor agonist (+)-pentazocine for 2 h to mask residual σ1 receptor expression. This was followed by incubation for 1 h with the indicated fluorescent ligand at 5 μM. In addition, mitochondria were stained with 250 nM MitoTracker-Bodipy FL (green stain in the GFP channel) and the nuclei were counterstained with Hoechst 33342 (blue stain in the DAPI channel). Our potent sigma hσ1/σ2 receptor fluorescent ligand is available in a 10 µg vial, allowing you to prepare 103 mL of 100 nM working solution to test σ1/σ2 receptors. Our CELT-483 product has been specifically designed to meet the needs of researchers in a variety of fields, enabling the study of σ1 and σ2 receptors with accuracy and precision. It has been validated in flow cytometry (Kd = 13.59 nM for σ2) and confocal microcopy in MCF7 cell lines (see publication for more details) to study both σ1 and σ2 receptors, using the appropriate masking agent.

In this special box, we offer our CELT-483 together with two masking agents: CELT-116 (L6) and CELT-117 (F390), selective ligands for σ1 and σ2 receptors, respectively.
