Farmaforum has become one of the most important events of the pharmaceutical industry in Spain. In the 2021 edition, it has extended its scope, sharing synergies with the biotechnology and cosmetic Industries.
On the 3rd of November, in the frame of Health&Research Forum, Celtarys Research participated in a round table entitled “New trends in Oncology: Diagnosis, Drug Discovery and Drug Delivery”. Our CEO, Sonia Martinez Arca delivered a talk about fluorescent tools for drug discovery in oncology, highlighting the application of fluorescent probes developed by Celtarys Research to identify and study different GPCRs involved in cancer. In particular, Sonia presented the interesting results obtained by the OncoMet Research group of the Health Research Institute of Santiago using Celtarys probes to analyse expression of Adenosine Receptors in cancer cells.
Other companies participating in the round table were the consortium Nasas Biotech-AMSlab, Diversa Technologies and Aptus Biotech. The discussion was moderated by Loli Pereiro and Julio Martínez from BIOGA.
